Cairn solves a specific Git workflow problem: a debug console.log, a real fix, and an unrelated formatting pass all landing in the same file. Instead of forcing an all-or-nothing commit, Cairn lets you select and stage exactly the lines that belong together, alongside traditional whole-file and hunk-based staging when granular control isn't needed.
